Females can live for 30 years (they usually eat the males after mating). Males wander around on wet nights looking for females and sometimes come inside when the sun comes up. Sunlight and lack of moisture kills them quickly. This one is a female. The handler told us at the time she wasn't experienced enough to handle the males.(more)(less)

I originally wrote the song because I didn't want to do a simple talking blog about my Sparta's little biting problem and I also wanted to show my friends back home in Turlock what my new place in Thousand Oaks looks like..
