Chole can be refrigerated upto 4 days
Ingredients for Chole:
2 Cups Kabuli Chana/Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans
Pinch of Turmaric Powder
1/4 Tsp Cardamon Seeds
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
1/2 Tsp Cloves Powder
2 Bay Leaves
1 Tsp + 1 Tbps Oil
2 Tsp Tamerind Concentrate(adjust acc to ur taste)
6 Cups Water(to soak Chickpeas- use same water to cook)
1 Tsp c*min Seeds
Pinch of Hing/Asafoetida
1/2 Tsp Ginger Paste
1/2 Tsp Garlic Paste
1 Cup Onion Paste*
1/2 Cup Tomato Paste
1/2 Tbsp Garam Masala**
1 Tbsp Chole Masala**
Salt to taste
Ingredients for Bhaturas:
1 Cups Atta/Wheat flour
1 Cups All-purpose flour
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Baking Powder
2 Slices of Bread
1 Cup Yogurt
2 Tbsp Oil (Hot)+ Oil for deep frying
1 Tsp Salt/salt to taste
If needed use warm Milk to kned dough.
Ingredients for Garnish (Optional):
Finely chopped fresh coriander
Note: Chole Bhaturas are generally accompanied with lassi. I have another video on Mago Lassi for reference.
